We call her: Esmeralda or Esmi.

She had a purple collar.

Has moved to her new home at friday and is doing well there.

Nerian En-Kai 7 weeks

Named after: The rain-god of the Maasai in East Africa.

We call him Pörri.

Pörri has moved to his new home 8.2.2009.

Grooming the litlle ones

Litlle girls got groomed last weekend.. Here is the result:

Huomaan ihmetteleväni kerta toisensa jälkeen kuinka jokainen pentu on niin persoonallinen, oma ainutlaatuinen itsensä aivan pienestä pitäen. Tämä hoitotäteily on auttanut huomattavasti ymmärtämään kasvattajien kykyä nähdä kuinka koira ja mahdollinen tuleva perhe toimivat yhteen tai ehkä oikeamminkin kuinka tärkeää on miettiä millainen koti millekin pennulle sopii.

Kuten Paula tuolla kirjoittikin; mustalla pannalla varustettu poika on jengin johtaja. -Tai ainakin valokuvattaessa sen onnistuu olla mukana lähes kaikissa tilanteissa, ja toisinaan asioiden ääneen kommentoijana. Joukossa on myös suuri kiipeäjä, joka iloisesti kuin Veikka Gustafsson Himalajalla, on iloisena kerta toisensa jälkeen valmis kokeilemaan huipulle pääsemistä. -Tässä tapauksessa se huippu on kohta, jonka jälkeen odottaa "vapaa pudotus" suureen maailmaan. Jostain kumman syystä aitauksen ympärys on turvattu ja pentuja odottaa siirtyminen suurempaan pentutarhaan.

Pentueessa on myös tuijottaja, joka hyvin rauhallisesti tarkkailee ainakin minun tekemisiäni aitauksen lähistöllä ja tykkää tuijottaa kameran linssiä hyvin läheisesti kuvattaessa. Kiia on saanut tuta, että joukossa on pusuttaja, joka hyvin mielellään putsaa varomattomilta nenän, jopa sisäpuolelta...Yhden pennun bravuuri on paini, erään komentaminen kun muut painivat...Jokaiselle on siis annettu juuri se asia, johon hoitotäti voi kussakin pennussa rakastua. - Ja sillä jaksaa taas :)

I've noticed I keep wondering how it's possible every puppy to be just like no-one else, each having their own little personal things. Spenting time with puppies as Nursery Aunt has made me much more understanding for the job of breeders.- Also the part of knowledge how puppy and possible future family would get along or should I say knowledge of what is needed just for this puppy at a suitable home.

Paula wrote how the black collared puppy seems to be kind of leader, or at least it's the puppy almost always there when photos taken and very often also commenting situations. In the Group there is also a climber of Mountains who time after time wants to hit the top and fall to the otherside, where the big wide world is waiting. - I have woken twice last night as someone licked me...So no wonder we have secured the area and puppies are anytime now moving to have even more room - and sure higher walls.

One of the puppies has this intensive look, and seems like he keeps stearing at me while I'm anywhere near. Not to mention when I'm near with Camera...Seems he'd like to know what that thing next to my face is and the best way to get to know would be doing like me, only on the other side of lences. Kiia just have met the great kisser of the band, the puppy ready to lick your nose inside out, if you're not careful. One puppy is great wrestler and the other sure is a commender of almost every playfight around. So each and every puppy has "the thing" to love and all they have found a way to Nursery Aunt's heart, with their own special personal ways. And that is fuel keeping Nursery Aunt going on :)

We have started to get interested in all kinds of toys. This doghouse is our favourite. Couple of us goes inside of it and other jump on them...
